My name is Leinie, students here in Chiang Rai call me P’ Yim, which means "smile". Well, someone told me it suits me well so I’ll stand by it.

 

I love to create. I love the arts and anything to do with it. I think it is God’s way of showing us how AMAZING He is. But, sadly the world has used it for profanity and many are greatly influenced by it. But then again, God’s kingdom is advancing and nowadays Christians are redeeming the arts. And, I want to be part of it.

 

I learned about graphic arts design in plain tutorials, lectures from the artists I know, some of my special classes in the University of the Philippines and the internet.

 

I do most of my artwork for Hot Rock Café here in Thailand. On my spare time, I work on my personal projects like the self-portrait, kids-portrait, and subject photography. I want to widen my scope someday and try to do landscape photography here in Chiang Rai.

 

Here are my heroes in the arts; Gigi G. – the graphic designer, Shing – the writer, Bang- the joker (hehe…love you te bang) she’s one of my spiritual leaders and a true inspiration. And, ofcourse CQ who is loving the arts more and more.
